Newly planted greenery needs a bit of attention at first. Check if the top layer of soil feels dry before watering. Always take the weather into account, because during heatwaves plants need more water. Giving too much water is not a problem, as all Upperbloom planters are equipped with an intelligent overflow system.

Keep an eye on the water meter and fill the reservoir whenever the gauge shows that the level is low. This system ensures that the right amount of water reaches every root so your plants stay hydrated and healthy.

Water directly onto the soil and also fill the reservoir through the watering tube. This combination makes sure that plants of all sizes get enough moisture and remain strong and vibrant throughout the season.

At the start of the season check your planters once a week. As temperatures rise, plants grow faster and may need water more often.
During warmer periods or busy terrace days, watering twice a week is ideal.
Check the water gauge regularly, especially after sunny weekends or long dry spells.
In colder months plants grow slower and need less water. Once a week is usually enough. If there is heavy rain, frost or snow you can skip a watering round.
When flowers have finished blooming you can remove them gently. This encourages new growth and keeps your plants looking fresh. Do not worry if a plant looks tired, as this is part of its natural cycle. Trim where needed and contact our team if you have any concerns. Most plants recover quickly with a little care at the right time.
